The IEO Independent Living Centre (ILC) is a community-based, non-residential support center established by the Inclusion & Empowerment Organization to empower persons with disabilities to live independently, participate equally in society, and exercise their rights.

Located in Hyderabad, the ILC brings together a range of educational, rehabilitation, skills development, and empowerment services to provide practical support for persons with disabilities.

Our Purpose

The Independent Living Centre works to:

The ILC also provides practical activities and classes including IT literacy, physiotherapy, tuition support, counselling, and accessible transportation for beneficiaries attending the centre.

Who Can Benefit?

The ILC serves persons with physical, visual, hearing, intellectual, developmental, psychosocial, and multiple disabilities. Family members and caregivers are also among the centre’s target beneficiaries.

Our Goal

The goal of the IEO Independent Living Centre is to contribute to increased independence, improved access to education, employment and healthcare, stronger community participation, better accessibility, stronger protection of disability rights, and improved quality of life and social inclusion.

Independence is not simply about receiving support. It is about having the opportunity, skills, accessibility and confidence to participate equally in society.
